Bailey Hammerand

My name is Bailey Hammerand, and this is my third year teaching at Olin Elementary as a special education teacher. I recently graduated from the University of Dubuque with a Bachelor of Science degree and hold endorsements in Reading (K–8) and Instructional Strategist (K–8).
I am so excited for the new school year! My goal is to support your child and give them the tools they need to be successful. I will work toward this by creating lessons that cater to their needs and abilities. I also believe building strong relationships is an important part of student success. I look forward to getting to know your child better and providing fun, engaging activities to help them thrive. I am truly thankful for the opportunity to work with your child this year!

Outside of school, I recently got engaged to my fiancé, Thomas, and we have a dog named Goose. We love traveling together, in fact, this summer we went to Cedar Point and rode roller coasters! I also enjoy going to sporting events. I especially love cheering for the Iowa Hawkeyes and the Milwaukee Brewers. I grew up in Dubuque, Iowa, and enjoy visiting my family on the weekends.
