Olin Consolidated School District provides students in grades K-6 with grade-appropriate instructions in the fine arts, including Music, Band, and Art. As well as our renowned STEAM program.

Our Arts Curriculum

 Olin Consolidated School District re-evaluates our Arts program and curriculum to make sure our students are getting an exceptional education. 


We give our students the opportunity to work with a variety of materials and mediums, including:

Arts Project Assessments Given:


  • Creating watercolor paintings

  • Learning how to weave

  • Making collages

  • Creating self-portraits

  • Using oil pastels

  • Drawing various subject

  • Creating artwork with a variety of mediums listed below

Mediums Used for Projects and Assessments:

  • Tempura paint

  • Acrylic paint

  • Watercolor paint

  • Pens

  • Pencils

  • Printmaking materials

  • Colored pencils

As well as learning how to add color to a student's creation and creating dynamic projects, students at Olin Consolidated Schools also are taught a comprehensive view of Art History, including learning about various artists, time periods, and art mediums.
