Tessa Leibold

My name is Ms. Tessa Leibold, or “Ms. Leibold” (pronounced lie-bold) and I teach PreK. I am excited to welcome you to our classroom family as well as the Olin community! I graduated from the University of Northern Iowa with a double major in Elementary and Early Childhood Education with a minor in Mathematics in the winter of 2017. I started my teaching career teaching PreK in Ames at a private school in 2018 and then in 2019 came to Olin Elementary. I also earned my master’s degree in Early Childhood Education from Upper Iowa University in the summer of 2025. I enjoy spending time with family and friends, attending sporting events, being outside, reading and watching children grow and learn. Preschool is a fun, special, and valuable stepping stone in your child’s learning journey. This school year will hold many new and exciting opportunities for your child to learn and grow as an individual and as part of a community. I look forward to being an important partner with you in your child’s first steps of education.
