I received my Bachelor of Arts degree from UNI in 2003, along with a Reading Endorsement. I am currently enrolled in a master's degree program through Morningside College. I plan to receive my Master of Arts in Teaching for Special Education in December 2021. I have worked at Sylvan Learning Center and St. Pat’s School in Anamosa, as well as substitute taught at various other schools throughout Eastern Iowa. I love the family feel of Olin Elementary and enjoy watching the students grow each year! I live in Tipton with my husband, Matt, and our two teenage sons, Braxton and Kendrick. We have one dog named Mercedes, who is a 15 year old Jack Russell Terrier. I love spending time with my family and friends! My boys are active in sports and we love watching the Iowa Hawkeyes and Chicago Cubs. I also enjoy reading, yoga, coffee, tea, chocolate, and of course, teaching!
